What is findandremind and how does it really work?

getting-started

Findandremind is a private and secure online organizer and social network that allows you to handle all your communications with other findandremind members from one handy spot, your “Command Center”. Here you can coordinate and organize everything from Events and Groups, to Carpools and Photos. Your Command Center and its content is completely PRIVATE to you…no one else can see it. And you can access your account from anywhere online! So the way findandremind works is [...]

How do I adjust my Notification Settings for messages, alerts, etc. that I receive?

settings-privacy

Click on “My Profile” in the yellow sticky at the top of your Command Center. Scroll down to the “Notification Settings” section. Then just check/uncheck the boxes for the message types you’d like to receive/stop in your external email or in your findandremind account. Then click Save at the bottom. However, if you decide to turn off your external email alerts (as we encourage), then you will only get your important notifications in your findandremind [...]

First, you’ll need to create a Group Link (a group of people you know) to be the home for your Blog, so just view the Group Link building instructions to [...]

volunteers

A couple ways: For the “Casual” Volunteer organizers – just create a Group Link of friends you tend to coordinate volunteer events with often, and use the message board to discuss open volunteer positions with the group in one handy place.
